Summary
The city didn't sleep so much as it simmered, beneath neon reflections and concrete breath, its heartbeat pulsed like a secret too dangerous to name. Somewhere in its belly, two lives moved in parallel, orbiting pain like planets that had forgotten their own gravity. Yara walked its alleys like a phantom carved from war, silence clinging to her like a second skin. She carried the weight of men she'd unmade, of debts that never dwindled. Her story was not written in ink but in scars, hidden behind eyes that flinched at kindness, and hands that never shook when blood was required.
Jun-ho didn't know the whole of her, only that his world shifted when she stepped into it. She was the question he couldn't stop asking, the storm he didn't mean to chase. He saw more than she wanted him to. And she hated him for it. Not because he saw too little, but because he saw too much. In another life, they might have met in the light. This life belonged to shadow, and in the dark, even love had teeth.
Their time was counted, misunderstood like clockwork, running like wild foxes after their prey. Blood was covering their bodies as death closed upon them from walls that could talk. In the death of eye, they were intertwined.

Summary
Junho always knew that something inside him was broken. Something very important in him, perhaps even the main thing, was not working correctly. He is not like all the other people who happily accept their fate, start families, believe in God, in the meaning of life. He believes in only one thing - everyone makes their own choice, and he has long ago, hopelessly, without fail, chosen one person – his brother.

Summary
" Setting his groceries down on the sidewalk, propped up against the wall, Jun-ho turned back and moved towards the alleyway.
He’d been right about one thing: there was someone lying in the alleyway, but it was not a drunkard. Even in the dim lighting from the street lamp across the street, there was no mistaking that expensive suit, nor those inexplicably pristine dress shoes.
Crouching down, he nudged the man lightly with one finger.
“Salesman?” he asked, the name slipping awkwardly off of his tongue. It wasn’t a name at all, and yet it was the only thing he’d found so far that the man answered to.
He received no response. "Jun-ho finds the Salesman in quite a predicament, and although he knows better, he decides to help him. Who knows, it might just end up paying off.

Summary
“Inho couldn’t say no to him.
He had raised him when their mother couldn’t. He worked overtime to buy Junho new shoes, skipped meals so Junho could eat, carried him on his back through the City when he was tired, stayed up through the night to soothe his fevers.
He couldn’t.
Not then. Not now.
Even if it hurt.”

Summary
Jun-ho thought receiving the money and baby was enough. Enough proof that his brother cared about him, at least a little bit. That now he could move on and live his life.
But it wasn't. He still missed him.
He tries to ignore his feelings and does a pretty good job of it, until the phone rings on a Tuesday night, from an anonymous number.
He picks it up. “Hello?”
“Detective Hwang.”

Summary
The mission to find his brother and prevent anyone from accidentally killing him in a fit of righteous anger was already a hard enough task. But matters became infinitely more complicated for Jun-ho the moment he met the mercenary leader his friend had hired for them.
A face from his past, with its mere presence, derailed his thoughts toward decidedly unmission-related destinations, and the fact that the man, who had been his most memorable night, didn't even seem to remember him, stung more than he cared to admit. The only way to resolve the issue was to talk it out.
Or, perhaps, to explore other, less verbal resolutions.

This is basically what happened before my last story and what brought these two together. The title is cheesy but the only thing I could come up with so that's what we're stuck with. Hope you guys enjoy it.

Summary
This is pretty self-indulgent because I noticed the lack of this couple in the smut area. I believe in bottom Gihun supremacy, that man deserves to be as much as a pillow princess as he wants and Hwang Junho seems like he knows how to treat a man right. Though he is quite possessive of what's his, which includes Gihun who loves every minute of it. Anyway hope you enjoy it, whoever reads this. I'm tired of seeing Gihun settle for Sangwoo when he deserves someone a million times better, with better morals but a little mean streak to keep Gihun in line.
