This story explores an after story with elements from the original continuity, and the Remake and Rebirth games where Cloud settles down with Tifa and they've had a child. What will this child do after learning his lineage and destiny?

Cloud had put an end to the madness, striking down Sephiroth as the Planet intervened to stop Meteor. The battle was over. Now, they could return and build the lives they had fought so hard to protect. But moving forward was never going to be that simple.
As they made their way back to Midgar, trying to carve out a place in this new world, they found themselves weighed down by grief and guilt—haunted by the sins of their past. Could they truly allow themselves to be happy when so much had been lost? Aerith was gone, the Planet scarred, and the cost of their victory lingered heavy on Cloud’s mind.
But with Tifa beside him, with Barret at his side, he would try. He had to try. They all did. Because this was their way of seeking forgiveness, of proving that everything they had fought for still mattered.
But how long could they keep going before the past caught up with them?
