Draco is on contract with the DMLE, providing insight on the overwhelming number of dark objects they've seized. His work is never ending, but it's granted him immunity. Until today, when Potter approaches him with an offer. Successfully track down someone who has stolen something from the vaults of the Department of Mysteries, and his contract would be fulfilled. No more of the Ministry looking over his shoulder, waiting for him to slip up. It's an offer he can't refuse.
The one problem is the person Potter has set him after. Hermione Granger doesn't want to be found, especially not when she's so close to what she's risked everything for.
