Then get up to a bunch of other wholesome activities like meeting the Z team for celebratory drinks and fucking. Things get a little domestic. Mecha Man takes his place at the head of the Z team while the last vestiges of the Red Ring accept a dangerous offer for a chance at revenge. Malevola confronts her past. Visi pushes herself to be more. Robert tries to solve a mystery. Golem learns painful truths.
Post-Canon Epilogue to help cope until s2 formerly titled “embarassing” because it started as a 1shot fluff scene of the same name and morphed into more of my interpretation of the post-canon story.
It’s gotten a bit out of hand with the world building but it’s a lot of fun to write.

The Z-team is able to defeat Shroud, who is then taken to prison, saving LA from devastation. But villain activities never truly die down and the team could use another pair of hands.
Joining a superhero team after being imprisoned for 4 years is definitely a weird change, especially when working with a certain bat-hybrid who cares a little to much about drugs, stocks and... Let's just say, committing HR violations.

Robert must navigate the challenge of a new atmosphere, balance his objectivity as a dispatcher and the budding relationship with one he must dispatch, confront a rising threat of artificial intelligence and a new villain by the name of Malware, and ultimately decide if he will remain a Dispatcher or leave that behind to rejoin the hero force as Mecha Man.
