Summary
Fan poetry as tribute to the creators who have shaped me throughout the years. I have been writing these, very intermittently, for a while, and figured they should have a home somewhere.
Chapter 1: For you, a doorway... (Seanan McGuire's Wayward Children, and the fantasy worlds we build.)
Chapter 2: You think you're giving me the world (Frontier sci-fi, and the heroines who are expected to lose their thirst for adventure once they are married to the heroes.)
Chapter 3: A fairytale of rockets, incomplete (Ray Bradbury and classic sci-fi, and building our own fantasies.)
Chapter 4: The witch who used to haunt Potrero Hill (Neil Gaiman's Neverwhere, and people who have fallen through the cracks.)
Chapter 5: Red shoes. (A different take on the classic fairy tale.)
Chapter 6: Arrival. (Fantasy characters who run away and grow up.)
Chapter 7: Elegy for Apollo. (Ada Palmer's Terra Ignota, and the irresistible drive to explore the universe.)
Chapter 8: Forgetting. (Memory loss, and what we leave behind.)
Chapter 9: The price of fire (Prometheus, rewind). (Our fascination with glory and war.) -

You may think, dear Reader, in an age of anti-sleeps and kitchen trees, coffee shops would be an antiquated curiosity. Not so! Each Hive maintains its own customs, and each has some vital lesson to convey regarding that Hive’s history and character.
(A missing excerpt from Mycroft's account.)

Summary
This is the story of Ceri, an OC living their Annus Dialogorum: for one full year, they must debate with someone different everyday in order to become a full-fledged Mason. The story is set before the Terra Ignota novels, so there are no spoilers, but some fun references will be lost on you if you haven't finished the books.

Summary
They are, perhaps, an unusual partnership, the unnamed fourth and unseen fifth members of the Triumvirate. Between them they have enough titles to rival J.E.D.D. Mason, and between them they have one allegiance, one mission, and, for a few short months, one bed.

Summary
It's the Iliad of Homer, in space, with giant robots. Apollo Mojave decided that giving godlike power to individual soldiers was the only way for individual soldiers to retain strategic relevance in an era of high-tech war. Apollo Mojave didn't live to finish writing his Iliad, and Mycroft Canner never finished the tale either, so this is my attempt. Have mercy, Gentle Reader.
Don't expect thematic or tonal consistency. I'm seat-of-my-pantsing a NaNoWriMo. I have half a setting conceit, an approximate mapping of themes and locations, and ... not much else. Tags and archive warnings may change as this work is extended. Gundam and SAC_2045 are referenced as a source of certain concepts, but characters will likely not appear in this work.

A young person chooses a Hive, which wasn't the choice of their ba'pas. Terra Ignota fanfic.
If you haven't finished reading the Terra Ignota series, hold off on this one. Definitely don't read this if you haven't reached Chapter 15 of The Will to Battle; I wouldn't want to spoil you with the Utopian Oath.
