The Lamb came out victorious from the battle against The One Who Waits. Not one bit pleased by Narinder's attempt to take their life after everything they did to free him, Lambert spared the former god of death, planning to make the cat pay for everything he had ever done. However, The Lamb's plans had an abrupt change once they brought Narinder to the cult and realized that maybe, just maybe... the rotten, decayed and bone exposed body of the cat was not made for mortal realm without his godhood.

Summary
Lambert founded Cat's Cradle two thousand years ago by the grace of The One Who Waits. Most people in the former cult now faith don't remember why it was even started, many now being born in the large town built over ruins. Only four really remember why all of this was made, The Crucible. They are the disciples of Lambert and over see the cult in different ways, often making sure things keep running while The Lamb is away. Now after all these years they have seen what they had all been waiting for, the freedom of their God. Only it wasn't what they were expecting. The One Who Waits seems to be mortal and things just keep getting weirder.
Now Lambert along with their Crucible will need to come together, learning how strong their bonds are and grow new ones as a new age is coming. A New Faith is to be born. What this means they will all soon find out.

Summary
Following a lethal duel in his prison, the God of Death was struck down by his traitorous vessel. With the fall of the last Bishop came the obsoletion of the Old Faith, leaving the new bearer of the red crown as the ultimate authority. Though The Lamb had amassed a loyal following, and more power than they could've ever dreamed of, they weren't quite content with how things had turned out. Thoughts of the chain-bound deity continued to linger long after their fateful encounter, prompting them to try and fix their mistake.
Many years later, an ancient soul takes his first mortal breath. Enraged by their audacity, the newly resurrected feline has no desire to live nor serve under his usurper. Unfortunately for Narinder, his new fate has already been written, and The Lamb has no plans of letting him go again.

In which the Lamb trusts Narinder (for whatever reason), the Crown apparently is a matchmaker, and Narinder enjoys being as contrary as possible, including acknowledging his feelings.

The Lamb knows what Narinder will ask of them, when the bishops are slain and he is freed. They are prepared to give their life and crown, and they trust his promise of swift resurrection.
However, the Red Crown has already chosen its true bearer, and will not waste its power on a weakling.(aka, the red crown forces the Lamb to betray narinder and commence the final battle. Problems ensue, along with the corruption of godhood and the fallout of post game purgatory stuff)

Unfortunately, they found themself needing the cat's knowledge within a couple of weeks after mysterious beings stole all five Crowns. After resurrecting Narinder, Ayna found themself trying to wrangle a traumatized ex-god assassin cat, while dealing with their own issues and addictions, and trying to understand and counter a new threat to the cult.

Leshy is the Youngest of The Bishops, and he is the first to die. The first God to fall for the sake of the prophecy, the first to be erased, the first to crumble to ruin. He is meant to be the first to become nothing.
But he doesn't.
Leshy is resurrected instead, taken in by his murderer. He'd expect to become a laughing stock, a source of amusement for the Lamb, but they tell him that they wish to heal him. To forgive him.
Now, he must navigate the world around him, forced to confront his newfound flaws, both physical and emotional. To make matters worse, a certain follower begins talking to him in the hopes of befriending him, and Leshy cannot find it in himself to stop them.
Things were much simpler when he was a God. Truly.

Lamb had thought of a brilliant idea to get Narinder to lighten up. He’d been so moody ever since they usurped him almost a year ago, and so they figured bringing back his lost disciples would cheer him up. They couldn’t do this for free, of course. Narinder had been misbehaving for months, and they had to set an example.
