Tommy's parents, the king and queen, are murdered and his aunt and uncle takes over.
His aunt, now queen, is honestly a shitty person who tries to make him marry a princess from another country. He doesn't want to, and runs away, stumbling upon Technoblade, who is a pirate, and his crew of hybrids.
Oh, and by the way, in this story like half the world's population are racist towards hybrids, and many people hunt them. Tommy's aunt is one of those people.

TommyInnit's world shatters when he sees his mother, Kristin Watson, killed on live TV by the superhero Phil Watson. Neither Phil nor his sons, Technoblade and Wilbur Soot, know about Kristin being a villain or that Tommy is Phil's son. Raised by his anti-hero aunt, Captain Puffy, Tommy grows up fueled by a deep-seated hatred for Phil and his family.
Years later, Tommy discovers that his close friends, Ranboo and Tubbo, are being trained as heroes by none other than Phil. Determined to exact revenge, Tommy, under name ‘Phoenix’ the plans take an unexpected turn when he finds out Phil is his father. This revelation complicates his feelings and actions as he navigates a world where he feels abandoned and is alone.

Okay, maybe he got into serious trouble after all because of his decisions. But to be honest, it's hard to say that it's all his fault, and if George wanted to blame anyone but himself, it would be Sapnap, who abandoned him when he sided with the villains without explaining anything.
At first, there was a hope that his mind had been manipulated or that he had been threatened. But after he went on a mission from the association, perhaps to help or bring back his friend, he found that Sapnap felt completely at ease among those with whom he had recently fought fiercely. On top of that, he was now attacking the buildings of the heroes association and the heroes themselves with even more enthusiasm.
So, he completed the main mission, realizing that it was impossible to bring Sapnap back. But he couldn't just leave without finding out the reason for his transition. Sapnap was his childhood friend, his brother, his family, and George knew that he mattered just as much to a member of his family, if not more, given how possessive the hybrid demons were of their pack. So why, ignoring his own instincts, did he abandon George and all their beliefs? This remained completely unknown.

Wilbur, well, he was just the asshole who played him.
Don’t get him wrong, Wilbur likes the gig he’s got. But he knows he can do more good for the world, by joining politics and writing legislation, rather then adorning flashy suits and punching criminals. But he can’t just retire from hero work and leave his team down a man and without the only person capable of fighting Dream’s powers of manipulation.
Luckily, the phrase “You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain,” might be just the solution he needs.
