When Phil woke up that fateful morning and saw another version of his son sitting in the living room, he thought Zeus had finally decided to make him go insane. But then over the years more and more children appeared on his doorstep, and more gods came along with them. Now he had the children of over half the Greek pantheon living near his family and some of the other gods as well and he still didn’t know how to feel about that despite how long it had been.
Or- Thanatos, Charon, Dionysus, and a few more along the way adopt a bunch of orphans. A bunch of demigod orphans with powers, and they all live by a lake like it’s a summer camp.

W jego snach zawsze był jakiś głos. Miękki, melodyjny głos, który śpiewał kołysankę ich matki. Bardziej monotonny, ale równie kochający głos, który obiecał, że pewnego dnia nauczy go walczyć, oczywiście gdy będzie już wystarczająco duży. Kochający głos matki śmieje się wraz z małym dzieckiem, gdy delikatnie próbuje przymocować małą koronę do czoła chłopca. A potem był łagodny głos ojca, który obiecał, że zawsze będzie chronił go przed tymi, którzy mogliby mu wyrządzić krzywdę.
A rano, kiedy chłopiec się obudził, zastanawiał się, przed kim właściwie powinien być chroniony.
- Tommy? - z drzwi dobiegł głos i Tommy uśmiechnął się radośnie na widok swojego starszego brata.
- Dream! - krzyknął, wyskakując z łóżka i rzucając się w ramiona, mocno ściskając mężczyznę. Jego brat odwzajemnił uścisk, jego dłonie przycisnęły się ciepło do miejsca na plecach, gdzie po raz pierwszy od kilku dni zapłonęły jego skrzydła, w pełni wyrośnięte.
Z pewnością Dream był jedyną ochroną, jakiej Tommy kiedykolwiek potrzebował na tym świecie, prawda?
Węzeł wątpliwości owinął się ciasno w jego piersi.

Summary
Tommy always knew that he would never be able to become heroes like the rest of his family. The major reason being that to become a hero you needed a superpower. In a city where everyone had a power of one form or another, that normally wasn't a problem. Unfortunately, Tommy was one of the very few that didn't get any.
Or at least that's what everyone thought.
A terrible event causes Tommy to realize he might not be as powerless as everyone thought. And he might be the key to stopping a villain that has been slowly working to take control of the whole city, just out of everyone's sight. -

Born after the Twin brothers had turned 19 and his father and mother were now 39.
Tommy goes through life and it makes an exciting story. With many bumps in the road.

Tommy was dying. He was dying. He let out another scream as Dream bent his leg back further.
“Swelling, immobility in the leg, bone protruding from the skin, deformed patella—” He could feel the way that his kneecap was somehow shifting further up. A stupid mistake; he should have just said it. With one final push, Tommy felt his leg harshly hit the stone of the floor.

Mr. Sam pursed his lips as if trying not to spook him. “An old friend of mine runs the studio and is hosting this free class as a recruitment of sorts. I figured you could use an outlet for all of that pent up energy you always have.”
Tommy opened his mouth to speak, but it took him a few seconds to find the right words. When he finally did, he winced at the way his voice lilted with uncertainty. “But…I’m not a dancer?”
Mr. Sam chuckled softy, nodding. “Maybe not, but I think you might surprise yourself.” When Tommy didn’t seem convinced, he added, “Listen, it’s not a commitment, just a single class. If you decide to go, it’s just to try it out and if you like it, you can keep going. If not, you forget about it and no harm done.”
Tommy bit his lip, glancing back down at the flyer. Mr. Sam certainly had a lot more faith in him than he himself did. And the last thing he wanted was to disappoint the person who’s class he actually looked forward to. His grip tightened almost out of determination, wrinkling the edges around his fingers. “...I’ll think about it.”

The orphanage— the only place Tommy and Tubbo had— was burnt to crisp. The only place they could even slightly call home, even if it didn’t quite fit the word.
It’s not like the wretched place was good by any means, of course not. But seeing as they were there for a reason, they didn’t and still don’t have any place to go if not there.
Even if the steady rise of the vampire population was getting a bit scary, they’d never encounter one themselves, right?
Tommy and Tubbo would get through this together, like they always had. Even if the cost was their lives.

In his dreams, there had always been a voice. A soft melodic voice that sang their mother's lullaby. A more monotonous, but just as loving voice that promised he'd teach him to fight one day, once he was old enough of course. The doting voice of a mother laughs with a toddler as she gently tries to fix a small crown onto the boy's brow. And then there was the gentle voice of a father, that promised to always keep him safe from those who'd do them harm.
And in the morning when the boy would awake, he'd wonder who exactly he needed to be protected from.
"Tommy?" A voice called out from the doorway and Tommy grinned gleefully at the sight of his older brother.
"Dream!" He yelled, stumbling out of bed and into his arms, hugging the man tight. His brother returned the hug in kind, his hands pressing warmly into the spot on his back where his wings would ignite from for the first time in a few days, fully grown.
Surely Dream was all the protection Tommy would ever need in this world, right?
A knot of doubt coiled tightly in his chest.
