Summary
How did Obi-wan find Kamino? A Jedi Pathfinder, of course. Kiva finds themself drawn into the war against their will - denied their Right of Denial; they follow the the breadcrumb trail of clues to the death of their master and the commission of the clones encountering mysterious horrors. All while there are rumours of clones and Padawans not receiving adequate sex-ed and er... doing the four-legged (or more-legged) tango. Force knows, someone has to be sensible in this Temple.
(AKA: A wild fever dream after I got sick of Disney ignoring different Force abilities and after I read Karen Traviss' own fever dream.
I will add more tags, content warnings, and stuff as I go. Please, if you have suggestions, let me know. Also: this is fanfiction, if you want the main character to be more representative of you, feel free. This is also a WIP: it might change as we go.Sidenote: I'm not a fan of Kal Skirata or Etain, just to warn you. Indra was there, staring at the comm in absolute silence. Everyone else stilled around him, even the men that despised him. The order was confusing. Not in the words. It was clear what the order was. But in the principle. It didn't make sense. Indra was a Captain, an engineer at that. He was vital, hard to replace. Having been forced into a combat role, Indra had managed, while not great, to keep the battalion running. Onyx helped, but he was also stretched thin due to inaccurate estimates, intel, and equipment. Onyx was doing his best to gather the information the Admiral refused to share, maintain the inventory, and also creating plans that the Admiral would eventually veto.
"Did you hear me, Captain?" asked the Admiral. Onyx was standing stock still over the Admiral's shoulder, concerning Indra. Onyx was rarely perfectly still, and he had never looked like a statue. His finger was twitching, and Indra was focusing on that when the Admiral interrupted.
"Yes, sir," said Indra.
"Then repeat it back to me, so I know you understand completely," said the Admiral.
Indra replied, "I will remain here while the rest of the battalion retreats and hold the ground until we have been reinforced, sir."

Din Djarin has a firm path - take Grogu to a seeing stone on Tython, where he might reach out to the Jedi. It is the end goal he has worked toward for so long, but it will leave Din without an aliit - a clan. Is a Mandalorian a Mandalorian, if he has no other true believers to reinforce him?
This fic begins with Season 2: Episode 6, The Tragedy, but diverges from there. Tython is not on Din's star map. He reluctantly travels to Corelia, hoping to find an older star map that contains the planet's location. While there, Din meets a young woman who seems connected to Grogu. When the map still gives them only a clue to Tython's location, they leave together to search the frontiers of Wild Space. As Din leads his small corps through unknown dangers, can he also build a future that will sustain him once his quest, and his Foundling, are no longer there to set the cadence of his life?
