Summary
Prince Zuko comes to the South Pole hunting the Avatar and instead gets blindsided by his furious betrothed: Lady Raven Arza, five feet of spoiled noble firebender who dodged her father's “you’re not allowed to go to war” rule by buying her own ship and chasing Zuko into it. She’s convinced he deserves to die; he’s convinced she’s lost her mind amidst her flurry of flaming whips. Unknown to both, an ancient weapon is about to awaken and change everything. Arzayanagi is a canon-divergent enemies-to-lovers epic.
Dedicated to my wife, who only vicariously loves me through my writings of Zuko.

Summary
Before the time of the Avatar the spirits danced. As the humans grew, they learned from the dances and eventually made it their own. They gained the gifts of elements from the spirits who fell in love with their dance. In order to keep balance between those with different gifts, the Avatar was not the only spirit that moved through humans. The spirits of the major elements also bonded themselves to a human vessel, much like the Avatar spirit. That souldbonded human was to serve as the link between the great spirit and the human world. They were also meant to be the teachers of the Avatar to assist in keeping balance in a world full of wonder and power.
That was true, until everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked.

Summary
The Gaang wanted a break for Aang to start learning earthbending. Instead, they got:
– A boy who jokes through every injury (and there are a lot of injuries).
– His best friend, who can crush a tree with nothing but air pressure.
– A cat.
– Zuko deciding one of them might be an airbender. What follows: fire, trauma, terrible jokes, and more found-family moments than they bargained for.
And when Zuko finally captures someone he thinks is an airbender, he has to decide whether to treat him as proof—or as a person.
This story takes place after Zuko Alone and then functions as an alternate version of The Chase. Toph has just joined the group, Azula is on their trail, and Zuko is far from Iroh’s calming influence.
The Gaang calls it “their problem now.” Zuko calls it "proof."
Teorin calls it “a disaster.” Lev calls it "a masterpiece."Don't let Lev's jokes fool you. He hides as much as he says.

Summary
"And now! The moment you have all been waiting for! It is time to announce the tributes! Happy Hunger games! And maybe the odds be ever in your favour!”
Thousands of names, Katara thought desperately to herself, there are thousands of names in that bowl, it won’t be Sokka, it won't be Sokka.
“The district 11 male tribute will be…” Ming Ming paused to squint at the paper, “Sokka, son of Hakoda!”
“And now for the ladies...” Ming Ming said, but Katara barely hears her. Greif has already set in. Katara knows her brother, strong as he is, will not survive a Hunger Games, not against the terrifying fire-bending tributes from districts one, two and three. The odds are never in her family's favour.
This is proven true when Ming Ming announces that the female tribute from district 11 will be Katara.

Summary
"We're going to be alcoholics by the time we're thirty," Sokka sighed.
"You think we'll live to be thirty?" Zuko asked, honestly thrilled. Sokka had pretty good instincts. Perhaps Zuko should reevaluate his long term goals. He could start by having long term goals.
A more likely alternative was that Sokka was just a hopeless optimist. It just went to show, you never truly saw another man until you stood shoulder to shoulder against a fleet of war balloons intent on raining death upon the city you loved.
Zuko was just a normal guy with normal interests. He liked theatre, burglary, crotchety ostrich horses, watching the Blind Bandit crush her opponents in a glorious display of skill and violence... just your standard banished prince things. It wasn't his fault he kept stumbling into rebellions and uncovering long-buried secrets. Fine, maybe freeing the prisoners was on him, but he was completely innocent of all other treason. Zuko was his father's loyal son. He'd never betray his nation.
Or:
Uncle Iroh took a more creative approach to fostering Zuko's appreciation of other cultures. Now it's everyone's Problem. -

Summary
Left behind at the Misty Palms Oasis, Katara waits days for Aang, Sokka, and Toph to return. But when bounty hunters close in, her only chance at escape comes from the last people she ever thought she could trust: Zuko and Iroh.
Now traveling under false names, bound by a fake marriage, and with no room for mistakes, Katara finds herself on the road to Ba Sing Se. What begins as mutual distrust slowly turns into eating side by side, sleeping even closer, and something far more dangerous: comfort. She thinks it will end once they reach the city, but in a place crowded with millions of refugees, and stuck in the Lower Ring, she doesn’t have much hope of finding the others. With no leads and nowhere else to go, she resolves to wait for her friends to find her.
But in their cramped apartment, days turn into weeks, and Zuko and Katara begin to settle into something that almost feels like domestic bliss. It isn’t real. Or at least, it isn’t meant to be. But the longer they stay, the harder it becomes to remember where the act ends and something real begins.

Summary
What? Zuko’s mind swam. He was banished? The avatar…but the avatar was gone? He hadn’t been seen in one hundred years.
“Your uncle tried to accompany you, but the Fire Lord has decreed that he is too useful to the nation as a General and has reinstated his position. He has not been allowed to see you.” The voice sounded hurried and urgent. “They are not allowing me to come on the journey and tend to your injury either.”
Zuko was injured. His father had burned his face. He was banished, he was injured, and he was close to death. But Zuko was sure of at least one thing: He would survive. He had to. He was going to capture the Avatar and regain his honour. This was his last thought before he slipped into unconsciousness. A promise to himself and his nation.
When Zuko loses the Agni Kai he is branded as a traitor to his nation and banished. The Fire Lord decrees general Iroh too valuable to be allowed to accompany his disgraced nephew. He is abandoned instead - left to fend for himself in a fire nation colony.Series
