Summary
Plus, it gives Parker a nice eye-line to the woman’s neck. Smooth and pale. It would probably bruise easily, but that’s not the point here. The point, Parker reminds herself, is to help Mel after her deposition. And not in that way.
After her deposition, Mel calls her sister, tries to listen to her playlist with calming noises, and knows it's not enough. She also knows there's at least one person who won't mind her popping in to bother them. Hopefully.

Summary
As the hockey season heats up and Alec struggles with the pressures of being a rookie, the spotlight and expectations from all sides, Magnus becomes the unexpected calm in the storm.
But when their budding relationship risks going public, Alec must decide if he's ready to come off the bench and into the light—for his team, for himself, and for the man who might just be his home.
Magnus has seen his share of bruised egos and cocky athletes, but Alec is…different. Quiet, intense, and awkwardly sweet, Alec keeps showing up with excuses to visit the clinic—and not all of them involve animals.
A romance story with hockey banter, adorable strays, and one very judgmental cat (or two).- Language:
