“Jesus. Hey kid, are you with me?” A voice echoed in her head.
A soft pressure of a hand landed on her shoulder which caused Chloe to flinch back into the metal door and crack her eyelids open. A groan fell out of Chloe’s mouth as her back and head lit up in pain. The hand thankfully left and she looked up to the body shielding the sun from her.
An older man with tribal tattoos looked down at her with tired eyes and furrowed eyebrows. It takes her brain a minute to realize it was the Palmetto Foxes’ coach trying to speak to her. Chloe saw his lips moving, but with the pain coming back her ears were full of static. Putting her bandaged hands on the ground, Chloe tries to push herself up to stand but she is so weak that her arms shake in exertion.
“-on’t move. I’ll- fuck. Let me call Abby.” David Wymack says like he is soothing a scared animal.
Chloe isn’t sure who Abby is, but the less people that see her until she figures out why she is here the better, “I’m fine. I came to see you.” Her voice croaks out.

Neil Josten has a sister who shows up on the steps of PSU's stadium trying to piece together why she was here and if she can call herself a Fox.
