Summary
When Ivy Patel arrives at the Villa to participate in the newest season of Love Island, she expected at most to walk away with a few weeks of a summer fling. Hell, she expected to not last past the first week. What she found, however, was a possibility for everything she'd thought she couldn't have. But only if she's brave enough to accept it.
Jake Wilson was on a reality television show for two reasons. Well, three. His best friend, Dez; publicity for the restaurant; and a bottle of tequila. His only goal, really, is to survive a few weeks and get some interest going in The Longer Table ahead of the fall food season. What he didn't expect was her. Now Jake has to decide if he's willing to throw aside past hurt and fight for something he needs.
A mostly canon fic encompassing Season/Series 1 of Love Island (Video Game).
(Note: There will be mentions of weight issues, and in the future there will be mentions of past abuse, cheating, and alcoholism. Additionally, as we all know, current cheating will become an issue. I will add these tags as we reach chapters that include them. Also, Levi is a dick and this work will reflect that.)

Summary
Love Island is definitely not the kind of place you'd expect to find a girl like Leah: calm, a little (quite a lot) insecure, the lifelong shadow twin whose only relationship was so catastrophic she thought her heart would never heal. But stranger things have happened in the Villa, and the Love Island experience is full of surprises, complicated people, and situations. Because the heart wants what it wants, and it's not always easy when you fall in love.
Or: The slow burn Ozzy and MC deserved but the game could not deliver.

It wasn't Bobby's idea to apply for Love Island but after a drunken lads night at the local pub, he thinks what the hell, why not? While getting cast came as a shock, what shocked Bobby more was that he was secretly hopeful that he'd meet someone on the show, someone who liked him too. He just didn't expect the girl of his dreams to be the first to walk through the Villa doors.
