In canon divergence from season 4, episode 2, Graham actually manages to stay in ACME's captivity, even after his mind becomes scrambled from the memory restoration device used on him. Now, for reasons unknown to him, the Chief of ACME is offering him to temporarily join ACME in order to hunt Carmen down, being partnered with the loud-mouthed Agent Devineaux. As his own identity and memories start to feel like they are splitting into two, Graham's own world flips as he has to question who truly is the good guy, and if he really cares to be one anymore.
in other words, Graham, Chase, and then later Jules form an unlikely trio as they all question where their allegiances should align.
