Summary

In District 7, a teenage girl is found alive among the dead sent from a District reduced to ashes. She has nothing to her name, not even a memory. A kind lumberjack and his son take her in. She is lucky, but not enough to escape the Reaping.
In District 11, three siblings lie on the brink of starvation. Their luck is the most terrible of all. The two eldest: Reaped for the First Hunger Games. The youngest, for the Second.
A heavy burden weighs on the one who stays alive.

Long ago, the Four Nations lived together in harmony. Then, everything changed when the Fire Nation, under the ambitious Fire Lord Asheviere, attacked. War ravaged the world for fifteen years as it waited for its savior: the Avatar, master of the four elements.
Enter the party: two young teenagers with the burden of the world on their shoulders, an earthbender with a hidden past, and a self-sacrificial nonbender weaponsmaster.
Trauma? Everyone's got it. Daddy issues? Some. Mommy issues? Definitely. Fights? Family bonding, I fear.

In Grace's opinion, dreaming about time traveling is no excuse for getting out of practice with his Eridian. To the rest of the Petrova Taskforce, it seems a bit odd that their resident Astrophage expert has suddenly taken to carrying a keyboard around and playing it whenever he speaks. Summary
Three years after the probes carrying Taumoeba and Dr. Ryland Grace's final message arrive on Earth, humanity launches an interstellar spaceship with a brand new mission. Thirty-six crew members (including two graduates of a certain San Franciscan junior high school) travel to the star 40-Eridani to make friendly contact with the Eridians and bring them the alien life form from Tau Ceti-E that can save their star if Dr. Grace's sacrifice failed.
Grace, now fifty-seven years old, is just trying to balance his life as a teacher while no longer being the only human on the planet anymore. It's a big adjustment, but Rocky and the Terra's Grace crew are going to make sure he's well taken care of.
