And it's in his damn eyes. Those eyes which shine with such care and distress. Those eyes which shine so brightly under the sun. Those eyes which greeted him every morning when they were children, asking to play or to lead him to sevens know where. Those innocent, untainted, immaculate and beautiful eyes.
He doesn't know whether to caress his cheek and reassure him he is alright or to wrap his hands around his neck, smashing his head to the ground. He doesn't know whether to stare back with the same care into those eyes or gauge them out so that he never gets to see them again.

Of all the ways to loop back, this had to be the stupidest by far.
Kalim shot up out of his bed, shaky hands flying to his neck as he felt around to make sure that he was actually alive. His heart was beating out of his chest as his eyes frantically shot around the room.
He took a moment to collect his thoughts. Okay, he was okay, he was alive and that was the important part.
Don’t think about the feeling of landing in the sand, the resounding crack as he landed on his neck, and the shooting pain that overwhelmed his senses as his vision shot in and out.
Don’t think about the way that he couldn’t move, don’t think about the way that he could see Yuu and Azul looking hesitantly at his limp body as Floyd gently nudged him with his foot, noting how Kalim’s neck was at a “funny angle.”
He was fine. Everything was fine.

Summary
Floyd is wearing someone elses clothes again. Sometimes it’s harder to tell- wearing Jades uniform, or an accessory that doesn’t much care for sizing.
But right now, it’s very clear. Azul is fairly certain that it’s a combination of both her own, and Jade’s closets. She’s confident that Floyd’s wearing one of her skirts, tied up with a ribbon around the waist that she can barely see peeking out from under the shirt-, but said shirt looks like something out of Jades closet.
The skirt is short enough that its barely to her calves, despite being to Azuls ankles when she wears it. Azul does her best not to frown, maybe pouting a bit.
