Сонхо с недоверием смотрит на файл с новым "делом" на его столе. В файле, как обычно, портфолио заказанной "работы": личные данные, место, способ устранения, недавние фотографии в анфас и в профиль. И всё было бы и правда, как обычно, 47 раз до этого, но с фотографии на Сонхо смотрят знакомые, улыбающиеся глаза его фиктивного мужа - Мён Джэхёна.
Sonho eyes the new “assignment” file on his desk with suspicion. Inside - the usual: a portfolio of the target, personal data, location, method of elimination, recent photos, both frontal and profile. It would’ve been just like the previous 47 times – routine, impersonal – if not for one detail.

“Why is there an alpha staying the night in your place?” Jobe immediately interrogates.
“No different than when you stay the night,” Jude reminds him. “Also, not really any of your business, yeah?”
“Completely my business!” Jobe counters. He looks between Jude and Erling, and then points a finger at Erling — one that looks far too accusatory for Jude’s liking. “You’re an unmated omega who lives alone—”
“Jobe, come off it,” Jude warns.
“—and you can’t just have random alphas stay the night!”
Or,
Five times Jobe meets Erling before Jude brings him home, and the one time Jobe meets him with everyone else.

A grimace pains his lips before he can stave it. “It is not what you think.”

“I have not been…unwillfully changed. It merely happened. I do not know how it happened.”
Erling considers him quietly for a long stretch. “It was my understanding that your people do not permit omegas to ride into battle, let alone lead armies. Or command their own fiefdom.”
His fingernails bite into his palm as sharply as his teeth bite into his own tongue.

Or, the one in which Jude is an alpha, until he is not. So, the king elects to strip him of his title and hand him over to the Vikings. And Erling.
