Summary
Adam inhales, long and slow, exhales even longer, and—
Something isn’t right.
Adam is all quick wit and sharp replies, no matter how tired he is. Adam would’ve called a tow truck and ordered an Uber, or a plane ticket, or hitchhiked with a fucking serial killer rather than call Ronan and admit he was wrong.
“The Shitbucket is fine,” Adam says. Then, quickly, “I’m in the hospital. Doctor says I can’t drive for a bit.”Adam loses his hearing. This is the aftermath.

Someone found out about the Dreaming. Alone and hunted, Ronan's best shot of getting out of this alive might be the stranger from the roadhouse.
