“You are not broken. Who told you that you were, Illuga?” Flins asked, pulling away from his neck, and looking into his eyes, searching for something. “To me, you are the most resilient soul I have ever encountered. Your strength is not in a scent gland, but in the heart that leads people and gives them hope. It’s the kindness you give everyone around you.”
Illuga let out a small, broken sound, feeling tears welling up in his eyes. He wanted to believe it. He longed for it to be true. But doubt was as a deep-rooted weed, clinging to his spirit. He looked at Flins, his gaze shimmering with unshed tears, meeting the alpha’s steady eyes in turn.
“You’re just being kind,” Illuga whispered, barely audible. “Because we’re friends. Because you’re a gentleman, who always says the best about everyone.”
Illuga’s heat starts at the worst possible time, and someone has put the shattered pieces back together.

Summary
Illuga was not a typical Omega.
That wasn’t really a surprise. Having one of your primary glands permanently destroyed by the Wild Hunt before you even present would do that to you. He wasn’t shy about it either; the scars were too big to cover anyway, and whatever clothes he wore that happened to cover them were for warmth. Anyone with eyes who bothered glancing at his neck would see the angry scars climbing up and down his limbs, marring his skin with marks that had nothing to do with his secondary gender.
Or, Illuga was an Omega. Flins was an Alpha.
Somehow, Illuga missed the fact that he was being courted the whole time.

Summary
Once their eyes meet, Lohen freezes, incapable of moving.
Those blue eyes.
“Good, you are awake.”
Unlike what he heard before, the voice is soft yet distant, very much akin to the voice of a normal man, albeit a bit deeper. Who steps inside is less wolf and more human than Lohen anticipated.
The mountain God in its human form.
The very God that saved him from being eaten alive.
The very God whose wolf form could reign terror on any place known to him.

Lohen is the human sacrifice for the mountain god residing close to his village. Varka is the god Lohen is supposed to worship, but is it alright if devotion morphs into actual love? If each glance and every day passing in Varka's presence makes Lohen want to become more than a follower - become his lover?
