Summary
“Please,” He says, speaking directly to Matt, “Please, man. You gotta call off your dog. Get him to back up.”
And in that moment, Matt’s first instinct is to flinch. To prepare for the worst, because this poor dead idiot has just misread the situation wildly, and now a blood-frenzied Frank Castle is about to show him exactly who he answers to. Muscles in Matt’s body tense and bunch, waiting for the second he hears Frank’s finger tap the trigger. This isn’t what happens.
Matt learns something interesting about Frank in the midst of a mission. Later that night, they learn more about it together.
