When the Stargate malfunctions on the return home, Sam and Jack are left behind. Thankfully, the people inhabiting the planet are friendly and welcoming. While both Sam and Jack acknowledge there is nothing for it but to wait for a rescue, that wait becomes increasingly difficult when Sam comes down with a virus requiring more than just Jack’s sarcasm and sense of humor.
