There was an unspoken rule in Gotham, do not under any circumstance piss off Robin and that was the original Robin. Some of the Rogues still had nightmares about that laugh, the chirps and calls of birds mixed in with old haunted Lullaby in a language they couldn't decipher. When Robin grew and became Nightwing then the rule changed.
It was such a shame that the newest upstart never got the memo, never realised that behind the bright cheery smile was a Monster and pissing him off was a no go. Unfortunately, it was a lesson learned the hard way and even more so that most of Gotham's Villains were in the line of fire, because said upstart did the unthinkable.
He had taken a Robin.

Summary
After Jason Todd died, Dick Grayson disappeared from the eyes of the public. It takes six months for the hero community to realize. By the time they do, he's gone, disappeared into the shadows. Within weeks of his dissappearance, villains notice that their favorite (tolerated) vigilante is gone. But they don't have any better luck at finding him. No matter where they look he's gone.
Almost a decade later, a contract goes out. A former agent with the CIA has a price on his head. The bounty is higher to bring him in alive but dead is acceptable. All of the usual suspects, and a few unusuals, take the contract. Deadshot, Cheshire, Sportsmaster, Deathstroke, and others all begin hunting the man known as Delta, the most elusive ghost of the Medusa Program. They know his code name and very little else.
Deathstroke aka Slade Wilson, comes across him by chance in Spain. Only to meet a familiar face if colder for what he's done.

If someone had told Satoru that he would be a single parent at nineteen, he would have probably laughed at their face. If someone had told him that Suguru, his one and only, his mate and alpha, would leave him for a hopeless dream, he would have punched them. If someone had told him he would run away from Japan and to South Korea with two children and one on the way, he was sure he would have ended that person for saying something so stupid.
Now, here he is, holding his new born baby with Megumi and Tsumiki on either side of him. He feels happy, content, and yet a part of him feels empty. Satoru thinks 'Suguru should be here, he should be here to meet their newborn baby' but he isn't, and that's the part that hurts the most.
