The Na'vi are brutal, but they are not unkind as they pick up the broken pieces of him and remind Ghost...His heart is warm so long as it is beating.

He sounded pitiful, and yet there was still not any sign of that cursed emotion in her eyes. Instead there was something sharp and hair-raising about the way her pupils seemed to grow and then shrink the longer she looked at him.
“You are alone.”
“I am alone. . .” he whispered, knowing she heard him. “I do not wish to be forever.”
At the age of twelve Odysseus is ripped from his home and stripped of his titles after narrowly avoiding execution by his own father's hands. Unable to find stability, his wanderings lead him to Sparta. There he meets Menelaus and, by the other prince's encouragement, agrees to compete for Helen’s hand for the sake of food and shelter. Unsure of what comes next, Odysseus only knows one thing: his struggles are far from over. . .
Inspired by the non-Homeric myth of Odysseus’s father being Sisyphus rather than Laertedes, and my own love for a certain song that introduced me to EPIC.

Maybe it was. Regulus feels warmth spreading through his body at the thought that Barty had missed him. He lifts a duvet a bit and pats a place next to him. “Are you coming?”
Barty smiles before laying down. “Of course.”
Regulus feels Barty's arm wrapping around him, while he places his head on Barty’s chest and he sighs contently. He missed Barty too.

Barty just wants to make everything easier for Regulus, but there are times when he's only making things harder and he can only hope that his best friend won't leave him because of that.
