Summary
This wasn’t the Manson Family or anything, Shane knew that Ilya’s methods were lawfully wrong; yet, he couldn’t find it in himself to care. These corpses that Shane took care of for his boyfriend were bad people, and now they couldn’t hurt anyone. And sure, all you had to do to be seen as bad in the eyes of the Rozanovs was pay them back a week late, but timeliness was a skill Shane learned young and had trouble sympathizing with those who didn’t meet deadlines. It was the hardest thing for Shane to see anything Ilya did as wrong, not after coming to know him so intimately.
Or, Shane is a medical examiner for the city of Boston. Ilya is Bratva. This is a day in Shane's life, making sure his bosses don't find out he's working for the Bratva while being the object of Ilya's affection.
