Summary
The Clones knew from the moment of decanting that they were created by the Sith to kill the Jedi when the time came. And in return the Republic would call them heros and the Sith would offer them freedom.
It only takes a few battles for them to decide the Jedi are not what the Sith and the Prime had said they were and a few more battles after that to know that the promised freedom was a lie.

It starts with Jango running the Dark-Saber through Pre Vizsla's chest. The Mandalorians here are so, so soft, and in one smooth motion Jango pulls the blade free and decapitates the man, while dozens of his soldiers look on, and not a one mourns him.
Well, no, in truth it starts on Geonosis, with Jango laying in the sand in a deserted gladiator pit full of long rotted bodies and broken droid parts. He hurts, and the next time his Riduur tells him not to touch a creepy statue, no matter how tempting, no matter how aggravating it is to hear Obi’s teacher voice used on him, Jango is leaving the creepy force stuff to the force sensitive Mando. -

Jango’s head whipped around, staring at Ben in shock. There hadn’t been time between stumbling on the fight and getting involved in the fight for Myles to explain just who it was they’d just found.
Ben’s gaze darted toward the street again. “Why’s that?” Ben asked, tone not-quite conversational. He sounded exhausted, Myles noted, even with only two words to judge and Myles could hear the strange slowness to the words that came when a person was struggling to string a sentence together.
Myles tapped at his ribs where the two lies lay. “Found a few scars on my body that hadn’t been there before.”

Summary
Maybe Obi-Wan was playing a game, just like Jango was. Jango wasn’t unaware of the prodding questions Obi-Wan asked, about Dooku, about the clones, about Jango’s role.
Jango answered a few questions. Lied about others. Ignored some. He could feel Obi-Wan trying to piece together the truth from all of it.
It felt like another sort of fight, one with words instead of their bodies.
It was all a fight, or a game, or something else altogether that neither of them would acknowledge.
