Summary
It's the first winter after Pitch's defeat. Jack is happy, he's not alone anymore, and his memories are gradually returning. But when a treasure hunt gone wrong puts Jack and Jamie in danger, flinging them through time and space, they find themselves on an island neither of them have heard of before. Jack's first priority is to get Jamie home safe, but Berk's inhabitants - human and otherwise - are certainly not making it easy.
Knowing they will leave Berk and the Vikings behind as soon as they know how to, Jack is not going to risk the pain of growing close to any of these people (or dragons, for that matter). But Hiccup Horrendous Haddock, wearing his heart on his sleeve, doesn't seem to want to take the hint.

Jason was tied with his arms stretched to the sides, bound with ropes that hung from the ceiling of the room. His body was entirely stripped naked and a gag was placed in his mouth. His master stood behind him, his reflection nowhere to be seen in the mirror ahead, arms wrapped around his torso and chin rested on his shoulder.
“Did you miss me?” the ghostly apparition said to him, "I have a birthday present for you today."
Jason's eyes widened at this, and when he saw Roy's familiar face in the doorway, his whole world came tumbling down.

{plot} Bats are working on a case of Omega trafficking; Red Hood's an Omega and he’s been on suppressants since he came back from the Pit (refusing to be the only Omega in the pack) and overdoses – Nightwing comes to rescue. This comic's from Dick pov ~!
💬 I've made a slight change about Omega's heat, as being more likely to mate than just being horny (and usually Alphas take advantage of that, anyway), during the heat Jason gets very frightened and loses his voice.
