Summary
In the summer of 1985 in Hawkins, the newly opened Starcourt Mall has become the focal point of the town, driving other stores out of business. Hawkins chief of police, Jim Hopper, disapproves of Eleven and Mike's budding relationship, while Joyce considers moving out of Hawkins for a better life for her children and herself, leaving the state of the children's friendships and her own relationship with Hopper in the air as well as he children's burgeoning relationships. Joyce notices something strange going on with her magnets and decides to investigate. However, strange power fluctuations trigger Will's awareness of something otherworldly, and Eleven, Roxy and Max sense something is off about the town's residents. Despite having closed the portal to the Upside Down, they fear that they are all still in danger from it.
A summer of realisation and feelings changes Hawkins at it's very core who will change for good and who will change for the worst?

She exhales. She can’t believe Kay right now. “Well because if my fucking girlfriend was pregnant with someone else’s child I would like to know who the father is.” She tries to keep her voice down, so Navarro doesn't hear.
She watched Kay lose her resolve, her angry stare dropping. She exhales too. “Remember when Weyland-Yutani forced you to eat that pill so a woman’s body could create sperm and impregnate other women.”
Rain frowns. “Yes, everyone ate them because they knew the experiment didn't work and they gave you a lot of extra credit for it. Which ended up being for nothing.” She huffs.
“It did work.”
“Huh?”
“Rain, this baby is yours.” She guided her hand towards her belly again but Rain quickly pulled it away,
"You are shitting me."

As the world continues to spin on, New York begins to feel less and less like it did when they first arrived there. As Kurt, Rachel, Santana and Max struggle to escape the dark vines choking them they see how deep the city has effected them.
Slow Burn reconnecting Brittana, Klaine and OC’s.
There are some canon divergent elements to this fic, Santana has already moved to New York and met Dani, Santana and Dani are already together, Finn never took over Glee Club and there will be G!P Brittany, don’t like don’t read.
