Summary
Obi-Wan was supposed to track the bounty hunter, detain him, and bring him to Coruscant for questioning. He was not supposed to uncover a clone army, start a galaxy-wide war, and share a drug-induced heat with the very bounty hunter he was supposed to detain.
Or the one where Obi-Wan and Jango share a drug-induced heat & rut on Geonosis and somehow keep ending up in each other's beds throughout the Clone Wars.

Summary
After escaping Galidraan's outcomes, Jango reunites with his people and resumes his life by reviving the True Mandalorians with the few who remain. He travels the stars, takes on contracts, and seeks revenge along the way. He never gets trapped again, and the years go by.
