Summary
Sunny wishes he could spend just a little extra time with his dream friends and somehow, it's granted. Though perhaps he should've worded his wish a little more carefully because he wakes up to his Headspace friends sitting on his bedroom floor.
He now has to keep his weird dream friends under control in the real world and his real friends are dragged along for the ride.

Summary
Quite some years ago, two souls were intertwined at an abyss. The mind of the dreamer began a realm of creation, far beyond the compression of his own self.
Omori would do anything to protect his friends, even if he has never truly meant them. His purpose has always been to protect Sunny, the dreamer, but as he’s become his own being, that purpose was lost. Stranger will do anything in his power to stop him from achieving what he plans to accomplish. On both ends, the truth is a very powerful thing.
For the last close to three years, Sunny has been locked away in his house. It’s December 200X, and it won’t be long until he moves away on Christmas Day. Sunny has long had all he can take of reality, however, and makes a trip to a freezing cold lake.
It doesn’t quite go as planned.

Summary
Sunny didn't think his friends would take the truth all that well. Though, it did go better than expected...everyone's going to need space. Which is fine, of course! Sunny knows its better they know the truth, whether the friend group ends up staying together or not. Sunny assumes that all of the huge life-altering events for their old friend group are going to be done for now.
Sunny thought wrong, and he finds that out quickly when a speeding semi-truck hits Kel right outside the hospital!
Sunny should've known bad things wouldn't magically stop happening, probably. Still, he tries to settle into his new life in his new apartment in Closeby City, and he does do an okay job at that. He...he does an okay job at that until he wakes up one morning to see the ghost of Kel standing in his bedroom a week after his death. Kel quickly comes to the conclusion that he's there because he unfinished business: getting the friend group back together.
