   Summary

   When Izuku Midoriya fell from that ledge, he pictured the sunset, hoping his death would be swift and painless.

   Fate had never been fair to him before, and it certainly wouldn't start now. For Izuku woke up minutes later on the very same pavement that had broken his bones, discovering that he had that special thing he always longed for.

   Only, he didn't want this. Not when it meant having everything stripped from him.

   Izuku Midoriya becomes a hero in the only way he can, much to the displeasure of a certain pair of heros.
