--Sample from the Fic--
“Hah. That’s a bad joke, even for you.” Loop scoffs, though their star sparks as they fluster. “I know full well you don’t feel that sort of attraction.”
“I don’t, but that doesn’t mean I hate it.” Siffrin paws at them, silently begging them to turn over; they groan and oblige. “I do it with Isa sometimes. Just because I don’t feel that doesn’t mean I don’t like doing it, y’know?”
“…I guess so.” Loop squints at him, and he flushes. “What do you even get out of it?”
“Touch.” Siffrin responds quickly, then blushes and elaborates. “The reactions are good too. But I really like the touch.”--TL;DR--

Summary
Free from the loops and reunited once more, Siffrin and Loop have picked up where they left off in their not-quite-friendship, not-quite-relationship. They’ve even learned a few things on their travels with the party:
One, the tail Siffrin’s had for as long as they can remember fits perfectly into Loop’s chest star.
Two, when they connect, they share senses, as though they were one mind in two bodies.
Three, they might as well be one mind in two bodies, as when they’re connected, their thoughts overlap in a way neither of them can get enough of.
