Summary
Scar didn’t expect to get captured.
When an ambush causes Scar, also known as HotGuy, to be captured by a vengeful enemy of his co-hero, Cub, he tries to get help by using a meditation trick that allows him to speak to the person he is closest to. Only it turns out the person he is closest to isn’t his best friend, co-hero and partner in crime, but the person to whom the universe thinks his soul is linked.
Grian didn’t expect to wake up to a cheerful voice chattering inside his head.
Grian tried to stay away from the black-and-white world of heroes and villains to forget his past as the villain Mother Spore, so now he dabbles in the morally grey area of vigilantes. But then a cheerful, way too optimistic voice won’t leave his head, and seems to want him to go right back to that world. When Grian finds out the voice is actually in serious need of rescuing, can he assemble his allies once again to save the person to whom the voice belongs to?

Scar had expected to dislike being Grian's neighbour a lot more than he did. Not that Grian was an unpleasant person - far from it. The builder was easy to get along with: cheerful, undeniably talented, always ready to help, and most of all genuine. But still. It takes him by surprise how much he enjoys Grian's company… and he finds himself craving for more.

“Oh come on, Tommy, don’t look so worried.” Grian sees Tommy flinch when Dream drops an arm around his shoulders. The two women coo at Tommy’s apparent nerves. “You’re bound to make mistakes this week, it happens. That’s what I’m here for. I’m your friend, remember.”
“Right. Thanks, Dream.” The timer reaches zero and Grian still can’t look away from the kid. Sylvee ruffles his hair and pulls him along, and Grian can only watch. Something feels… off.
He must stay standing there too long, because Scar is suddenly pulling on his wrist and Grian remembers where he is. Grian smiles, following him over the bridge and into the Dome. It’s not the time to be worried about something other than the games. He needs to stay focused, for his team.

OR: Grian tries to mind his business, he really does. But something about the kid’s hunched shoulders and scared expression pushes him to keep a closer eye on him. As the games continue, Grian gets more and more concerned by what he sees.

Ren and Doc worked with pest control. That was, if the 'pests' in question were infestations of the dead, spiritual variety. A job in a small mountain town leads them to a case that might be more complex than it seems, and at the center of it; Grian, a young man that is more entangled than anyone bargained for.

Summary
AU in which demons are from the Nether, humans are from the overworld, and angels hail from the End. Elytras don't exist; only angels can fly.
But there are legends, tales of the very bravest of souls that have crossed the chasm between worlds, and come back with wings of their own, granted the power to be seen as an angel. Grian finds himself tempted, to find them for himself and no longer have to suffer the judgement of being a demon.
What he doesn't know, though - there are no wings that do not already belong to another. And though he may have found what he was searching for, he may come to regret his decision when the angel whose wings he unintentionally stole turns out to be his new neighbor.Series
