Somewhere in Satoru's drawer (he couldn't entirely get rid of it, it was too dear to him, especially with all of the memories and conversations with his one and only it held), laid an old phone. It still worked, the exchange of texts messages reminding him of how things were. The number still existed, but it would never text him back ever again. Sometimes, late at night, Satoru liked to read them all again, a reminiscent of his youth. And on a few rare occassions, he'd text it again, he knew he wouldn't receive a reply, it was a phone from the early 2000's, no one was crazy enough to keep it. Until one night, Suguru's old number replied.
Or, satosugu, but told through texts messages.
