Summary
Unlikely Auror partners for the past three years, Harry and Draco had shockingly fallen into an easy comradery. Initially, both men were pleasantly surprised that they could have civil conversations regarding shared interests. But it was only in the past several months that their careful friendship had quietly and deceptively transitioned into the undefined relationship of their present. If forced to admit things to himself, Harry would acknowledge that he was awe-inducingly in love with his partner and (sometimes) best friend. Draco’s begrudging adoration for Harry was slightly more contained but every bit as pure. This love, (because that is precisely what it was), was much more obviously decipherable by all third parties who shared the pair’s presence, and Ron, along with the rest of the Aurors, regularly wagered regarding the timeline for their inevitable epiphany.
