    Summary

Stanley Snyder survives petrification only to discover that he is decades too late. Xeno is gone, civilization has already been rebuilt, and the only thing waiting for him is a stack of journals addressed to a man who was never there to read them. As Stanley pieces together the life Xeno lived without him, he is forced to confront a truth neither of them ever imagined: sometimes the cruelest thing in the Stone World isn't death, it's the life.

    Summary

For the second time since he got his secondary sex, Xeno hated the fact that he was an Alpha. He watched as Stanley smiled sweetly to the omega in front of him, their distance too close for his comfort.
He wanted to tear Stanley away, to scream at the omega that Stanley belonged to him, and him only.
But he ignored the thoughts in his mind, picking up his drink with a trembling hand, and looked away.
