Summary
Wei Wuxian is an omega who was forced into an abusive bond relationship with Wen Chao. Lan Wangji is an alpha, omega rights activist/lawyer who takes on pro bono cases of omegas trying to flee abusive bonds. Because the law doesn't recognize domestic abuse between bonded alphas and omegas and because the breaking of a bond is often quite difficult for the omega, divorce disputes like this are rarely won in court. They fall in love obviously.
