Summary
‘Alright lads, we’ve got an infiltrator somewhere in the ranks, he could be anyone. All we know is that he was trained in the U.S. by a terrorist group called C.H.U.D., most likely an American native who replaced someone during or just after selection, so look out for American accents slipping out and keep tight on opsec.’
In the audience of seated men, the American radical C.H.U.D. agent, Braxton Hicks, currently known as Charlie Smith raised a hand to his face to hide a wicked smirk. They didn’t know! He had been picked for his flawless imitation of a British accent, surely nothing else would give him away.

When they all had leave at the same time, Ghost didn’t seem to go anywhere, or do anything with any particular urgency, it was weird.
No, what was really weird was that randomly, they’d come back from somewhere, they’d all be told ‘Good job lads, rest up’ and a few days later Ghost would be gone for 48 hours. Even weirder, he’d come back pale and wobbly. Even weirder than that, he’d be in a really good mood for a few days, boisterous, maybe even playful. Soap really wanted to hear him laugh again.
So far, he’d never been called away when he was in anything but good health, but part of being a good team player was worrying about these things. Soap was a great team player, Ghost’s health concerned him deeply.

Summary
When we were rescued, Johnny didn’t want to be alone. He didn’t say anything but I could tell from his actions. We were given three months away from Stirling Lines, mandatory therapy, and fitness-to-work tests to look forward to. He invited me to visit his family up north with him, share the driving and I said yes.
Up in Coatbridge during this time, we had a pretty interesting event. We helped solve a crime.
