Summary
The Bardweave Trilogy is a semi-canonical, story-driven, angsty, sometimes smutty, slow-build fantasy/adventure romance with healthy doses of comedy and ensemble dynamics. Point of view is half and half between Tav and Gale, with plenty of attention paid to non-ship characters and their interconnecting relationships.

Summary
Allitavria is a wizard—an entirely ordinary one, even by Waterdhavian standards.
As the third daughter of House Brookstone, she attended Blackstaff Academy as was expected of the children of a wealthy family. After all a generous donation has a remarkable way of opening doors.
She studied diligently, but rarely found herself in the spotlight. More often than not, that honor belonged to the Academy's resident prodigy: Gale Dekarios. A wizard of extraordinary brilliance, whose effortless command of the Weave eclipsed nearly everyone around him.
Allitavria graduated without distinction. She went on to lead a perfectly respectable life, opening a modest shop that specialized in magical trinkets and the occasional rare tomb. Nothing particularly remarkable. Nothing history would remember.Until business took her to Baldur's Gate.
Until a nautiloid tore through the sky and abducted her.
Until she found herself infected with an illithid tadpole, pulling at a very familiar wizard out of a magical sigil.Bookmarked by AynBaer

Summary
Vi narrowed her eyes a fraction, mischief tugging at the corner of her mouth. “And - your real name.”
His cheeks hollowed beautifully as he sucked a breath, expression flickering with surprise, doubt, curiosity, and finally. Respect.
“Doctor Gale Dekarios,” he admitted. “And you are?”
Game. Set. Match.
“Captain Violante Calder.” She grasped his hand. “Welcome to the Eurydice.”
When his skin finally touched hers, the electricity fried every nerve. Her gaze locked to his, and for a moment, she forgot everything - the deal, the crew, the illegal cargo. Then the heat she’d desperately been ignoring finally broke through, roaring and undeniable.
Gods, he might be the most infuriating man she’d ever met. But she also wanted him biblically.

Summary
After the fall of the Netherbrain, Tav's home in Baldur's Gate was destroyed and Gale offers his tower as a temporary place for her to rest and heal. A very slow-burn romance starts to bloom, while Tav (named Iluviel) struggles to be ready after the things Astarion did to her.
~
Lots of D&D lore and (mostly canonical) Waterdeep worldbuilding went into this fic that follows both Gale and Iluviel through their daily lives inside and outside of the wizard's tower.
~
Readers said about this fic: "This fic has had me in a chokehold from Day 1. The most deliciously slowest of slow burns, yet with enough intensity and cliffhangers to keep me racing back to it as soon as a new chapter alert comes out. The world-building that has happened in this fic surpasses just about all of the other fics I've read to date, with the imagery and scenery so beautifully written I could imagine myself sitting right in the kitchen along with Gale, Tara, and Iluviel, dodging pots and pans 😁"
