Summary
Obi Wan Kenobi left his hometown the day after his high school graduation and never returned, until now. Ten years on, Obi wan comes home to bury his father, but there may be more unfinished business than meets the eye. As Obi Wan struggles to understand his father's violent passing, reconnect with his younger siblings, and see where he fits in with town that thought he had disappeared, he also has to rectify with a traumatic high school incident and the man who made his life a misery.
Chief Cody Fett, a one-time high school bully and football star, now can't seem to stop popping up everywhere and when Obi Wan agrees to help him with his father's case, things take an unexpected turn.

Obi-Wan made a punched-out noise of desperate disbelief, but it and his racing thoughts did not slow the cascade of information, each sentence more horrifying than the last.
"Had your bond been broken, this would be a very different conversation, but seeing as Skywalker has chosen to maintain it, he may try to use it against you—or us."
"Because Skywalker has never been to the new temple before, we deemed it safe enough for one last trip,"
"I see." Obi-Wan rasped out, his throat tightening and his vision blurring at the thought of his future banishment from the Temple, and ostensibly the Jedi Order. After all, who would trust him with the future of their Order, with another Padawan, when he failed so miserably with Anakin?
"We're giving you three days to rest and refuel, but we have to ask that you take off again."
Or,
In a galaxy dominated by two Empire's keen on destroying the remains of the Jedi Order, Obi-Wan must never return to his family after his padawan, Anakin Skywalker, falls to the dark side out of fear of their force bond leading the sith to the Jedi's doorstep.

Fuck how do words work again?
“C’mon, I may not be a doctor, but one of my best friends is. I know a thing or two, let me see.” Suddenly hands are on his face. The man's hands. Are on Cody’s face. Ow- wait that actually kinda hurts. He must flinch a little because the man hisses in sympathy and offers a quiet apology, but does not stop feeling the bones along his eye socket and nose.
“Looks like just a broken nose, unless you were injured anywhere- oh force that's a lot of blood!” The man finally looks down at Cody’s abdomen. His black tank top hides the blood well, but at this point it's pretty soaked and showing on the hand that was holding the wound. “Oh fuck hold on, ill call an ambulance- force why didn’t you mention you were stabbed-”
Cody cuts off the man's anxious rambling by grabbing the wrist holding the phone- is that a flip phone? focus. “No.”

The earth soaked up the blood, and the rains washed away the remains when the young man, who did not belong here — who had never been one of those born in these lands — left everyone with a choice: submit or die.

MCU Steve Rogers, guy who never quits, is quietly sent home after the serum "fails." It did not, in fact, Fail. After realizing this, Steve Rogers, 5'1” Super Soldier and 6 time recruitment office applier, makes up a new fake name and Joins the Army anyway.
Thus starts the Legend of Reeve Dodgers. He becomes a military in-joke, he gets into all the regular Howling Commandos type nonsense, he wakes up in modern New York and goes missing for 3 weeks, he gets an Analyst job at SHIELD and almost drives his deskmate into a nervous breakdown, he starts writing and drawing for the ongoing run of In Universe Captain America Comics, he gets poached for Stark Industries R&D testing, he becomes good friends with Clint Barton, he wears a Captain America Suit for the first time during the events of The Avengers(2012)
