He was grateful for the cold, not only because it gave them the space to speak, but for the fur lined coats and capes he'd been draped in since he could manage. Were anyone to look to closely they might connect the lines of his gained pounds as more than a penchant for sweets.
"Do you want to head to our quarters?"
Considering a long moment his lids closed, breathing long and slow. "Perhaps we should head to our winter holiday."
Nala held to his hand, fingers brushing along his. "Do we have the time?"

Peering over the edge Simon’s nose wrinkled. “You don’t look okay.”
“Would you buzz off Snow?” Baz rolled over, sitting up fast enough to nearly collide with Simon.
Hands up, backing up, Simon paused, halfway through his step. He saw the flush, the way Baz curled around his pillow, finally caught the stay scents into a familiar line. “Oh!” he said, his own cheeks gone pink. “You’re in heat.”
Baz blinked. “Get fucked.”
No. Not Possible. He wasn't... was he?
Or, Vampirism messes with natural bodily functions. Baz Has to learn that the hard way.

"What-whoa!" Pomni nearly toppled over as Jax grabbed her wrist, pulling her hand to him, laying her palm across the false swell of his stomach. For a split second she was lost until she felt it, a tiny wiggling something underneath his skin. "Oh."

"Again?"Or Caine has them playing house with very odd roles. Did he pick them himself or is something outside him making choices?
