“The fuck does that mean?” Will asks cradling his blood-dripping nose with the towel.
You know what I mean. I’m giving you a chance for all of your suffering to end.
“You’re crazy.”
I’m not the one with a voice in their head talking to them.
(Or: in the midst of zero plans of saving the day one final time, Vecna starts to coax Will into joining him by making him seem and feel crazy. But what happens when Mike is the reason Will actually joins him?)

Mike grabs Will’s hands and tangles them with his own, blinking up at him through his long, dark lashes. His eyes are endless. Solid black, like the night above them. So shiny that Will can see himself, tipsy and happy, in the reflection. “I want to be stuck with you,” Mike whispers, like it’s a secret. “I don’t ever want to leave.”
Will sucks in a sharp breath, squeezing his hands. “Then don’t,” he whispers back, punched-out and honest. “Stay.”

Summary
After moving back to Hawkins, Jonathan and Will move in with the Wheelers. They’ve settled into a routine and life is starting to feel as normal as it possibly could with four giant hell portals stretching across town. But, tonight, Will wakes up after having a violent nightmare that is more like a flashback than anything else. All his repressed memories start coming back through his dreams. But, Mike is always there to hold him and tell him that he’s safe.
