Summary
Angel has been working towards redemption but never considered what he'd do when he actually achieved it. Now, stuck in Heaven without the man he loves, it all becomes too much to bear. Would forgetting his time in Hell be better than so much pain?
Husk has said he'll never redeem. But with Angel gone, he's having trouble insisting eternal damnation is what he deserves. He misses his boyfriend and hasn't he suffered enough? Mind made up, he works on his path to redemption so he can see the love of his existence again.
When he finally ascends, his joy quickly turns to heartbreak. Angel doesn't remember a thing.
But all is not lost. Bits and pieces are returning, and a new spark has ignited that can't be ignored. After all, both agree that this other guy ain't half bad.

Summary
No longer able to endure Valentino's abuse, Angel seeks out the gambling overlord, Husk, and begs him to make a bet for his soul. Husk is hesitant to help, worried about the political fallout and public perception.
When Husk witnesses Valentino's cruelty firsthand, he realizes he can't just abandon Angel to his fate. He goes through with Angel's request, but a regular soul contract won’t do. Instead, he binds Angel's soul to him in demonic matrimony, convincing himself that a fake relationship will keep his reputation intact and be good for publicity.
Will their marriage remain a sham, or will their mutual attraction lead to something more? Can they help each other heal the wounds they've both borne for so long? And how will they face the enemies who are determined to separate them forever?

Aziraphale's hands were shaking, his throat was closing up again, and there were tears coming out of his eyes. He squeezed his eyes shut, but the tears kept trickling through anyway.
“Okay,” came Crowley’s voice again, very near at hand — gentle, steady, undercurrent of anxiety audible but, doubtless for Aziraphale’s benefit, tamped down under control. “Okay, there. Yeah. All right. You want a hug?”
And it was Crowley, it was just Crowley, they’d hugged plenty of times before. Aziraphale liked hugging Crowley. When he got like this a hug was an almost guaranteed way to help him feel better, to ground him, to calm him down. It was just Crowley, for goodness’s sake, this was ridiculous…
Aziraphale discovered that he was shaking his head from side to side, very emphatically.
“Okay,” Crowley said for the fourth time, calm and grounding even without any physical touch, and the sound of his voice retreated a foot or so. “Not a hug. Is there anything else I can do?”

OR: After a performance review and a dubious "reward" from the Archangels, Aziraphale arrives home badly in need of comfort.
