Summary
The hit resonates above the noise of the city. His head snaps to the side, eyes forced to the cracked concrete below. He can feel the blood beading where her ring has carved into his cheek and it stings under her touch but the vitriolic Arabic that so sharply rolls off her tongue right after cuts so much deeper.
"You are an only child, Ibn al Xu'ffasch."
Her nails dig into his jaw, forcing his head up to meet her eyes. "You have always been an only child. You'd do well to remember that."
A part of him resents her for calling him the sole heir. Splinters at the idea he was born alone. Another wonders if she is right. If he can even call himself a brother anymore when his is scattered, thousands of miles away, ashes in an unmarked grave.
". . . I understand, Mother."
---
AKA - Damian was a twin, once. But the League has no need for two heirs, and as far as he knows the Bat must only need one son. So when he is sent to live with his father, it is not merely blood relation that makes him refuse the idea of new family. Not that they know this.

Summary
Still unpresented pup Bradley thinks he's mature enough to be able to stay home alone overnight. His parents aren't so sure, but due to unplanned circumstances they give him a chance to prove himself a mature pup.
Bradley just gets into some harmless shenanigans, and missed his family.
Only due to misunderstanding his Papa's warning he ends up spiraling a little, and he doesn't want to admit he ate bunch of junk food, and now his stomach is hurting.
(Yes, both weird and kind of medical hurt/comfort. And in this ABO world teenagers before presenting are very sheltered more than they realistically could be, and on top of that Icemav are extra overprotective parents, so Bradley is definitely babied, and acts younger that he probably should even in this weird ABO verse)

Summary
"My dad believed in you. I’m not gonna make the same mistake." Rooster said, but before Maverick could answer someone else did.
Iceman.
"Is that the way you usually talk to your COs, Lieutenant Bradshaw?" He never sounded so cold with him.
"No, I—" Suddenly Bradley felt like a puppy caught stealing a cookie from a cookie jar. Or rather more accurately a pup that was caught— No, they weren't any horrible enough metaphors, for what he said.
"Because this is simply unacceptable." Iceman slowly came closer. "Give me one reason why I shouldn't make this an official reprimand, and remove you from this mission." He put himself between Bradley and Pete.
"Papa no, please—" It automatically escaped his lips, before he could stop himself.
"This kind of behavior is even less acceptable from a grown up Pup towards his Mother." His Papa said even more coldly.
Or Iceman overheard Rooster talking to his Omega. He gave Brad a choice if he would like to be punished by official Navy means, or by family rules.
AKA. Bradley gets spanked like never before by his Papa for his extremely rude behavior, with his Mama and his two little brothers watching. Then some other things also happen...
