Ilya let one of his hands slip to the small of Shane’s back, where he could feel the dip of those adorable dimples on either side of his spine, and with the other pulled Shane in for a really, really good kiss. The kind of kiss that had Shane purring into his mouth and grasping at his face to pull him in deeper. God, it was heaven.
Something fell to the floor near the front door.
Both of their heads snapped in the direction of the sound, and both their hearts dropped. Yuna Hollander stood frozen in the entryway, eyes wide and a grocery bag full of food fallen by her feet.
The timing was comically terrible, Ilya thought.

It was terrifying and it certainly was concerning. Anyone in their right mind would think something was seriously wrong with Shane, would insist he get help. Hell, they just might have him committed. He doesn't even think he'd blame them.
But how could he possibly give this up when this is the first time in so long that he's even felt alive? How could he ever give Ilya up? Ilya would never do that to him.
or; shane is being stalked and he like really kinda is into it…..

Ilya can live with Hollander hurting, as long as Ilya is the one who hurt him. Hollander will feel survivor’s guilt, obviously. He’ll go to the media crying and tell them how brave Ilya was. Their names are going to be linked together forever, and there is nothing Hollander can do about it, and Ilya will not experience any consequences.
Sometimes women tell him that his asshole cover is just a front for insecurity, but it’s okay, because he can put his walls down just for them. These women are wrong. Ilya is just an asshole. Nobody but God can judge him, and He’ll have the opportunity soon.

What if instead of Montreal, their game during episode 4 was in Boston. And instead of having a terrible time at the club, Shane, Ilya, and a bunch of their respective teammates (and the dentist, the referee and the EBUG) have an even worse time barricaded in the dressing room trying to survive a zombie attack. It might be easier if they were on speaking terms—but then, maybe it wouldn't.
