“We haven’t met yet,” Jonathan says quickly, sticking out a hand. “It’s nice to meet you, Dio. I’ve just… heard about you. Around the house. This morning.” His voice stutters a bit but he manages the sentence well enough.
The man looks down at his hand, then back up at Jonathan before slowly taking it.
“I’m Jonathan Joestar.”
Dio’s eyes widen incrementally as he says that, however the expression is quickly replaced by a polite smile.
“Diego Brando.”
Diego. Jonathan keeps a smile on, but his mind is spinning. This is not his Dio. In fact, by all accounts, his Dio seems to have disappeared. Not only that, but no one else seems troubled about it.

When he said his name, something shifted in her chest, a strange recognition, as if she had been mispronouncing a word her whole life and had only now heard it spoken correctly. She wanted to know what her own name would sound like in his mouth.
She took a long, shaky breath, forcing it out in a slow, measured stream. The single word that followed was surprisingly steady. “Zelda.”

A modern Zelda lands mysteriously in Hyrule and meets the knight, Link. He is assigned to protect her while they are tasked to travel Hyrule to discover why, and how, she ended up there in the first place.
