    Summary

Obi-Wan cannot hide his emotions in the Force like the rest of the Jedi. It is only one of his many failures.

Obi-Wan, after the events of Melida/Daan, decides that the path of a Jedi Knight is not for him.

Jaster Mereel would not say that he has single-handedly brought back the Mandalorian Empire; he definitely had some help.

The Mandalorian Empire is growing too rapidly for the Galactic Senate to ignore. And a certain Sith doesn’t like that they have managed to bring peace to the Outer rim

    Summary

It was a widely known fact within the Temple, that the Temple Guards stationed at the Coruscant Temple were experiencing a ‘shortage’ at the moment. Seeing as Knights were sent out to complete missions and went on protective details, they were also the Corp that was responsible for the Temple Guards.

    “I may have an issue.”

    “What is it?”

The boy was alone. No one else was around despite it being the middle of the night. Just the boy who made a bee-line for Obi-Wan. He was way too young to be out at this time let alone out here all alone. It was the boy’s training armour that tipped Obi-wan off that this was more than just a lost child.

“I have a youngling in front of me. There is no one else around and I am pretty sure he’s Mandalorian.”

Quinlan paused, then asked, “...Come again?”

Obi-Wan peered down at the child tugging at his arm. “Aran, ner echoy'la.”

Kriff. “Correction, I have a Mandalorian boy in front of me telling me he’s lost.”

Or it’s Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi’s turn to be a Temporary Temple Guard and of course one of his past missions comes back to haunt him.

    Summary

Inspired by 'Temporary Temple Guards' - must read to have context for this fanfic.

Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi is left without backup, without guidance, and without a home to return to after the Jedi Temple falls. With a gaggle of children now relying upon him to protect their future as the Sith Empire rises, he must grapple with his complicated history and return to Mandalore. He is more than aware that as a Jedi, many Mandalorians would be happy to kill him without mercy, the only comfort is his familiarity with their culture, that even if they kill him, at least they will protect the children, and that ultimately has to be enough.

“Great, you’re in,” the Jedi says. “Welcome to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant, Mrs. Lars. Your quarters and uniform will be assigned to you shortly. Padawan Skeft will be here to escort you, please wait on the other side of this door.”
Shmi stands and nearly tumbles over herself.
“That’s it?” She asks, straightening her dress and bag.
    The Jedi sniffs.
“That’s it,” they says. “You can—“
“I thought it would be more difficult to persuade you,” Shmi says.
“Ma’am,” the Jedi sighs, “We are an equal opportunity employer. Through the door, please.”

(Shmi Skywalker is assaulted by too-real visions of her grandson in pain in the future. She gets a job at the Jedi Temple in order to prevent that from happening and soon after finds herself on a warship.)

    Summary

Obi-Wan awoke to movement in the room, and a vague memory of a figure he knew as well as he knew his own mind. He thought he had been dreaming. In the dim light, he had barely been able to make out the familiar silhouette.

But it was Qui-Gon. It had to be, otherwise he was going mad. Obi-Wan knew the shape, the smell of him. Even the reticent set of his jaw.
