“What would you know of it? You’re probably just jealous of the kid.”
Ed's eyes flicked wider, as if he had never even considered that option before.
“Who’d be jealous of him?” Incredulity dripped from every word, and surely the Fullmetal Alchemist couldn’t be that bad.
“So you’ve met him, then?” Bauer asked, intelligence background at work as she sought information about these two children.
Elric just cackled and flipped open the file.
“What’s the bastard left for me this time?”

Or, some assorted scenes and situations that aren’t part of the main fic, “How to Solve a Murder and Incite a Rebellion” but are wonderful and hilarious nonetheless.

Edward Elric regularly lost his artificial limbs, in fights more often than not. This often necessitated creative solutions to problems, a ‘think outside the box’ mentality as it were. Or, perhaps more correctly, a ‘transmute this box into a cannon to explode my opponents’ mentality.

Or, some soldiers decide to prank Ed by stealing his spare automail. He does not have spare automail. He shows them exactly why he is to be feared regardless of the number of limbs on his person.
