Fiyero is grinning, bouncing on the balls of his feet in a way that reminds Elphaba of the boy he once was at Shiz. The main difference is of course that, now, he’s actually, truly happy instead of just dancing through life.
Elphaba still has a hard time wrapping her head around the fact that she seems to be a crucial ingredient of that happiness.
“Yero, you have got to stop introducing us like that. I'm so sorry, I’m Elphaba — his wife.”
OR
Fiyero and Elphaba go to the markets. That's it, that's the plot. ONLY FLUFF NO SADNESS.
