"Yeah, I'm fine," Bucky said, waving Sam off. "Just got a little lightheaded," he finished, knowing he had to give the other man some form of explanation.
Unfortunately, this didn't seem to convince Sam, but actually made him pause, considering.
"Oh yeah?" Sam replied with forced casualty. "When's the last time you ate then?" he asked, slightly less subtle.
Now it was Bucky's turn to pause. He...didn't remember. His eyebrows furrowed together, and he felt Sam take another step closer to him.

Summary
It seems hypocritical causing more pain to himself, but Bucky finds himself deep in a self harm addiction. Whether it was a form of punishment he forced upon himself or whether it turned into the pleasureful high, he was in deep. Its only till Sam finds out that he realizes how far gone he is, and seeing Sam's horrified, heart broken face made him want to cry. Sam of course, moves in with Bucky to help him recover and leads to many nights of cuddling and crying over urges, movies as distractions, and occasional slip ups when Sam leaves him alone too long.

“Free to do what?”Bucky knows that, technically, he’s been free for a long time. He’s been free from Hydra for years. He’s been free from the Winter Soldier since before the Blip. But he never really felt free until recently. Not until after he and Sam Wilson teamed up against the Flag Smashers. He finally feels like he might have the chance to have the peace he’s wanted for so long, but the world is unkind and so is the Power Broker.

Summary
After the events of Captain America: Civil War and Black Widow, Steve and Natasha break into the Raft and break the remaining Rogue Avengers out of their cells. After Clint and Scott make a deal and are put on house arrest, this leaves Sam and Wanda, the latter of which has been treated unfairly the entirety of their imprisonment.
