Going deeper down the road he could hear the ruckus of a crowd, soon he saw a gate by which stood a very familiar redhead, jumping up and down as she noticed Zanka approaching.
"You're late!" She pinched his cheek once he'd finally rolled to a stop next to her. "I thought you ditched us!"
"Sorry, sorry!" Zanka tried to release himself from her grip. "I jus' got a bit sidetracked, nothin' too serious!"
She finally let him go with a huff. "Whatever ya say, let's go, everything's already started."

Summary
Amphoreous was reduced to a wasteland from the never ending wars. Grassy fields were turned into sandy graves, flourishing valleys to scorched rock formations.
A toxic forest known as the Black Tide had now made the land it's home, but even so, it never stopped the curious minds from trying to unravel its mystery.
Phainon was doing just that when a large airship crashed overhead. Bringing into his life a man that would change his peaceful life into something much more exciting.
Maybe even a little too exciting.

And as that thought came, Dallas felt the terror finally rear its head.

Summary
What happens when that very thing that brought so much hope becomes one of the two biggest threats? The life-bearing warmth of daytime now sadistically siphons it away. It singes people crispy and beyond saving.
If that wasn’t bad enough, a human-appearing threat emerged simultaneously. Pretending to seek refuge from the sun's destruction, they prey upon vulnerability and isolation to kill. Visitors will go to great lengths to deceive you. Sometimes, even a keen eye isn’t enough to ensure well-being.
When Jabber seeks refuge, Zanka finds complications discerning his threat level. Human or not, he seems to have taken a liking to Zanka.
